Geneva M. Bissett

- Geneva M. Bissett, 73, of Conesville, Ohio died Sunday morning, April 8, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. Born July 22, 1938 in Utica, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Porter and Clara (Elliott) Morrow and was a graduate of Union High School. Mrs. Bissett was a member of the Otsego Baptist Church and she was a former employee of Wal-Mart of Coshocton. She was a foster Grandmother at the Coshocton Head Start program. She was an avid quilter and seamstress and she especially enjoyed celebrating all of the holidays. Surviving are three sons, Rick Bissett of North Carolina, Steven Carl (Brenda) Bissett and John Anthony (Renee Harrison) Bissett of both of Coshocton; two daughters, Brenda (John) Fowler of Coshocton and Debbie (Tom) Robison of Conesville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren and four more on the way and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William W. Bissett whom she married July 28, 1956 and who died October 6, 2011; one grandchild and three brothers, Jim, George and Francis Morrow. Calling hours will be 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street, Dresden. Calling hours will also be one hour prior to the service, which will be 1:00pm Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the Otsego Baptist Church in Otsego, Ohio with the Rev. Gerry Wade officiating. Burial will be in the Otsego Baptist Church Cemetery.
