Sharon Lynn Blythe

Sharon Lynn Blythe, 60, of Dresden, Ohio died Tuesday morning, July 31, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. Born February 19, 1952 in West Union, Ohio she was a daughter of the late William Pete Seaman and Berna Dean (Lance) Seaman Foster of West Union. Mrs. Blythe was an administrative secretary with Southeastern Legal Services and her greatest enjoyment in life was horseback riding and doing any activity that involved her grandson. She was a member of the Coshocton County Ohio Horseman’s Council. Surviving in addition to her mother is her husband, of 41 years, Terry D. Blythe whom she married April 3, 1971; a daughter and son in-law, Tracey and Adam Herron of Dresden; a grandson, J. D. Herron; a brother Elwood Barnes of Williamsburg, Ohio; a sister Barbara Fite of Maysville, Kentucky; a brother in-law Mike (Pat) Blythe of Manchester, Ohio; a sister in-law, Connie (Ronnie) Waldron of Cincinnati, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by and father in-law and mother in-law, Denver and Lena Blythe. Calling hours will be 5 to 8pm Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, August 3, 2012 at the funeral home with the Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Genesis Hospice.
